If your answer is Yes, then my new series on the history of art dealers is for you!
The Art of the Deal is a 6-part series written and research by art historian Jo McLaughlin. It aims to look into the life and work of 6 dealers from history who were instrumental in promoting certain groups of artists nationally or in some cases, internationally.
Without these dealers, the art world and art history as we know it would not be what it is today.
This series will be realised on the last Monday of each month, for six consecutive months.
I have loved researching this and I hope you get as much enjoyment out of it as I did.
